Eric J. Byres, P. Eng, ISA Fellow
Founder, Chief Technology Officer
Eric Byres is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in the field of industrial control system (ICS) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) cybersecurity. He is the inventor of the Tofino Security technology – the most widely deployed ICS-specific firewall in the world – licensed by industry giants Honeywell, Schneider Electric, and Caterpillar. Eric is also known for his leadership in international standards and research for industrial communications.
Eric holds an extensive list of accomplishments, which includes founding the BCIT Critical Infrastructure Security Centre, providing guidance to government security agencies and major energy companies on protection for critical infrastructures, sitting as the chair of the ISA SP-99 Security Technologies Working Group, representing Canada for the IEC TC65/WG10 standards effort, and testifying to the US Congress on the Security of Industrial Control Systems in National Critical Infrastructures. He has received numerous awards from international organizations and was made an ISA Fellow in 2009. In 2013 he received ISA’s highest honor: Excellence in Leadership.
Chief Executive Officer
Rod Campbell is a finance professional with senior executive experience across multiple businesses including technology, insurance, investment banking, and resources. He has served as a trusted business advisor, excelling in the delivery of innovative corporate finance solutions, identification and development of growth opportunities, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Campbell’s executive background includes his role as a Director and CEO of Jones Brown Inc., a Canadian Insurance Broker with over $190M in annual premiums acquired by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE:AJG); Chairman of Apri Group Benefits, one of Canada's largest independent group benefits consulting firms acquired by People Corporation (TSXV:PEO); President & CEO at Clarus Securities Inc., a private investment dealer; and Managing Partner at VRG Capital. Early in his career, Rod spent a decade at CIBC and has an MBA from the University of British Columbia.

Mark Weatherford is a celebrated leader in the field of cybersecurity. He has held multiple high-level cybersecurity positions, including Vice President and Chief Security Officer at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC); the Department of Homeland Security’s first Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity under the Obama Administration; California’s first Chief Information Security Officer; and the first CISO for the state of Colorado. In the private sector, Mark has held executive level cybersecurity roles including Global Information Security Strategist at Booking Holdings, Chief Cybersecurity Strategist at vArmour, and a Principal at The Chertoff Group. In addition to providing guidance and expertise to aDolus, Mark is currently CISO at AlertEnterprise and Chief Strategy Officer at the National Cybersecurity Center.

Frank Williams brings more than 30 years of experience building companies that focus on creating new information technologies for industry. He began his professional career as a founding partner of Action Instruments. He soon became CEO and developed the company to be a leader in industrial automation solutions, before a successful acquisition by Eurotherm in 1998. Frank then went on to hold executive positions at a number of successful automation industry start-ups and majors, including Vice President and Director at Tofino Security, Chief Executive Officer at ELPRO Technologies, and Chief Executive Officer at Statseeker. In addition to his role at aDolus, Frank currently serves as strategic advisor and Board member for Statseeker, a recognized leader in networking monitoring software.
Widely respected in the industrial automation market, Frank has given many speeches, written numerous articles, and is passionate about emerging technologies related to wireless, cybersecurity, and advancing productive networking solutions. He holds a BSEE from San Diego State University, augmented by many post-graduate courses in management, leadership, and technology.

Kevin Budd is the President of Monashee Capital Corp. a corporate finance and advisory firm specializing in Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures, as well as Corporate Finance, Succession Planning, Board Governance and General Strategic and Business Advisory. Kevin is also President of Pacific Southshore Ventures Inc., a private investment company focusing on Private Equity and Growth Capital opportunities. Kevin lends his financial skills and experience on several boards, including Ryan Mortgage Income Fund and Manchester Investments Inc.
Kevin received an MBA (Finance & Strategy) from the London Business School as well as an MBA (Business Strategy & Finance) from The University of British Columbia. Prior to that he receive a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Kevin currently serves as a Corporate Director and provides M&A and Strategic Advisory to aDolus.

Keith is one of Canada’s leading information technology lawyers. As past Chair of the Vancouver office’s Securities & Technology Group, he provides expert advice to start-up, emerging and mature private technology companies, including in Angel, venture capital and growth financings and strategic advice in mergers and acquisitions. Keith is the recipient of the BC Technology Industry Association’s Bill Thompson Lifetime Achievement Award for his exemplary efforts in supporting the BC technology industry. In addition to acting as outside counsel, Keith worked as in-house counsel for the Wireless Data Group of Motorola from 1989 to 1990 and at the world’s first commercial quantum computing company, D-Wave Systems, from 2002 to 2003. Keith has also served on the Boards and Advisory Boards of numerous technology companies, including as the Chair of Dyaptive Systems (acquired by JDSU) and as a Director of Layer 7 Technologies (acquired by CA and named as the 2013 CVCA “Deal of the Year”). Keith currently serves on the Boards of INETCO Systems, Zafin Global, Elastic Path Software, Jane Software and a number of community-based organizations. Keith has been a frequent lecturer at the UBC Sauder School of Business, UBC Peter Allard School of Law and various continuing legal education programs.
